Next one in this end of the year update with my made up characters. This character has the name of a chinese god: Byakko. One of the four guardians of the four cardinal points. Byakko was a white tiger that guarded the east, if I don't remember wrong. Anyway, if you are into mangas like "Fushigi Yuugi" you will know which god I mean. Since this character is albino, and I looked for a god name, I thought that was the best for him. And the "97", what is it for? You will know... someday. lol
I think this drawing is well proportionated as well, but now I think I should practice to make hips better. This one looks too narrow.
As I said before, he is an albino, but I made his skin look less light than an albino usually looks like. Anyway his white hair and grey eyes give him the look I think.
I know that it is strange that I put him in the sci-fi section when it looks so much like some sort of ninja, but trust me, I have my reasons. But I definetely wanted his armor look more sci-fi anyway. Maybe it is because I was inspired in the CGI intro of the videogame "Onimusha 3: Demon's Siege". The ninja armor that Samanosuke wears, to be accurate. The white scarf is my own touch.
His sirasaya (the sword) has the same glowing blade as Saya's katanas and Lili's knives. Byakko's weapon glows purple.
Again, I'm more interested in comments about the design, more than in the way the drawing is made. But don't stop putting those comments too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
